- אֲדִי(= ידי, b. h. הדה) to swing, throw, pitch. Snh.7a, v. גְּזִיזָא. B. Kam.22a; Bets.39a אַדְיֵיה אדויי he threw it off. B. Kam.98a אדייה א׳ he pitched it out of his neighbors hands.
